SCSHM: an international society with a truly global perspective.
The Society for Civil Structural Health Monitoring (SCSHM), a non-profit engineering professional society of leading structural health monitoring institutions and individuals with a global representation from the applied and theoretical arenas.
SCSHM’s mission is to advance the understanding and the application of health monitoring methodologies for the condition assessment and management of the civil infrastructure systems.
SCSHM members range from practitioners, engineers working in the field and in academia, to infrastructure managers as well as students.
SCSHM enhances our connectivity and information exchange, and increases the awareness of the structural health monitoring disciplines and tools among end users.
The Journal of Civil Structural Health Monitoring (JCSHM) with Springer publishes articles to advance the understanding and the application of health monitoring methods for the condition assessment and management of civil infrastructure systems. JCSHM serves as a focal point for sharing knowledge and experience in technologies impacting the discipline of Civil Structural Health Monitoring, especially in terms of condition assessments, forensic analysis, load capacity ratings and service life estimations.
